Game two of the Rockies questionable journey into the 75 pitch limit, four man rotation. This time Alex White brings his 5.56 ERA and 2-5 record into the game. White has lost his last two starts, giving up 8 runs (6 earned) over his last 10 innings. He left his last start against Oakland after throwing 83 pitches over 4 innings with blister problems. This will be his first career start against the Phillies. Joe Blanton starts for the Phillies, and is coming off a one run complete game against the Twins. In five starts previous to his complete game he went 1-3 with a 9.91 ERA.

Tyler Colvin gets his 3rd straight start and Dexter Fowler sits for the second game in a row. Carlos Gonzalez has feasted off Joe Blanton in the past with 5 hits in 6 at bats with 2 home runs.
