Rockies Line-up, June 6 2012

Josh Outman will make his second start of 2012 against Arizona tonight, in his first start Outman went 3 1/3 innings against the Dodgers, allowing only two hits with one walk and five strikeouts on 55 pitches, he is expected to increase that number to around 70 as he stretches his arm out after being in the bull-pen to start the season. Outman has started in 26 of his 42 career MLB games and is 8-7 with a 3.69 ERA while starting, with a 0-2 record and a 5.00 ERA in relief. The D-Backs will send out rookie left-hander Wade Miley who is 6-2 on the season with a 2.72 ERA, but lost his last start giving up 4 runs over 7 1/3 innings against the Padres. Miley faced the Rockies twice last season, winning both games while giving up 4 runs over 13 innings.

For Arizona A.J. Pollock gets the start in center, he was recalled today with Lyle Overbay going on paternity leave. Justin Upton is out of the line-up for the second straight night.
