Rockies Line-up, April 24, 2012

A day after being rained out in the series opener, the Rockies and Pirates are set to face off for the first time in 2012 tonight. Jamie Moyer will start for the Rockies against a struggling Pirates offense that is hitting a major league worst .202 and scoring 2.0 runs per game. Moyer comes into the game with a 1-2 record and is leading all Rockies starters will a 2.55 ERA over three starts. Kevin Correia will make his third start for the Pirates, he is 1-1 and has pitched 6 innings with one run allowed in both of this two starts, but missed his last start due to pain in his side. Correia has faced the Rockies 30 times in his career, starting 12 games and has a 3-5 record with a 4.57 ERA over his career against Colorado.

Dexter Fowler gets the start in centerfield despite being 0-19 with 9 strikeouts in his career against Correia. Carlos Gonzalez is 4-14 (.286) with 2 home runs against the Pirates starter. Troy Tulowitzki has enjoyed PNC Park so far in his career as he is hitting .422 over 17 games in the Pirates home park. This is the 6th game far so in 2012 that Tracy has put out this line-up:

Rod Barajas gets the start behind the plate for the Pirates with a .091 (3-33) average in 2012, but is 5-12 (.417) with 2 home runs in his career against Jamie Moyer.
