Weekly Link Round-Up

Don’t be bored: read these great things written by people I like.

  • Mark Townsend made some excellent observations in his recap of last Friday night’s win over the D-backs.
  • I so do not like Brian Wilson and, while I do not ever wish injury on anyone, I have to admit I’m a tiny bit happy about this.
  • The Denver Post’s “From the Cheap Seats” feature isn’t often all that good, but this one talks about Spilly, and the accompanying photo is really good.
  • David Schoenfield reflects on Jamie Moyer’s career … and uses the word “awesomeness” in the title of his article.
  • Troy Tulowitzki, useless so far as a Rockie, apparently has a new purpose this season: restoring other teams’ “karmic balances.”
  • You know, I was just in Cooperstown a few months ago, and one of the things I had to do while I was there was gripe about how underrepresented the Rockies are. So of course now Jamie Moyer’s stuff is there and I won’t even get to see it.
