Add Jason Giambi to the list of those Rockies on the disabled list – he was placed on the 15-day DL today after straining his left quad last night against the Dodgers. Good news? That means he’ll probably stay in a Colorado uniform for the rest of this year. Hopefully.

This may turn out to be the best pitcher’s duel in quite a while. These are two of the premier young pitchers in the National League today. Both are 23, and have been dominant. Save for Chacin’s recent struggles, he’s been one of Colorado’s better pitchers this year. This
