Today’s Matchup – July 6, 2011

With all due respect to Aaron Cook, this is not a pitching matchup that works well in the Rockies’ favor. In fact, I can’t help but be reminded of the matchup that led to Ubaldo Jimenez’s first career no-hitter last April at Turner Field. Can you even remember the name of the pitcher he beat? Kenshin Kawakami. Languishing in Double-A. If fortunes really are reversed in this game, let’s hope Cook’s fate is slightly different in the end. Lineup notes: still no Cargo, no Tulo. No win-o, I think.
