Today’s Matchup – June 20, 2011

Outfielder Dexter Fowler came off the 15-day Disabled List today, and was immediately optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs. Third baseman Ian Stewart has been raking in the hits in Triple-A, and will most likely be called up soon. For him to be called up, though, he has to fit. Unfortunately for Stewart, Ty Wigginton is hitting well right now, and Stewart would just be the odd man out. It’s better for him to get consistent at-bats here until the time is right.

The Rockies continue their run through Interleague play, this team visiting Progressive Field in Cleveland to take on the Indians. Juan Nicasio will get his first start against the American League, and Jason Giambi will return to a familiar role as the Rockies use the Designated Hitter role for the first time in 2011.

Here are your lineups.
