Today’s Matchup – June 6, 2011

In an attempt to spark a change in the Rockies lineup, manager Jim Tracy moved Carlos Gonzalez to the leadoff spot in the lineup, and from left field to center field. This is Gonzalez’s first start in center in 2011.

Also, outfielder Dexter Fowler is not available today after straining his lower abdomen. He will be re-evaluated tomorrow and the decision will be made to either put him on the DL or just leave his status as day-to-day, as it is now. If he is put on the DL, outfielder Charlie Blackmon will almost certainly be called up from Triple-A Colorado Springs to fill his place.
