After a 50-minute rain delay on Tuesday and a postponed game yesterday, the Rockies yet again find themselves on the bad side of Mother Nature as today’s rubber match between the New York Mets has been delayed until later this afternoon. The delay is scheduled to last at least half an hour, and could potentially be delayed until at least 3:00pm Mountain time.

Watch RoxPile for updates as they happen.

The Rockies lost sole possession of first place in the NL West yesterday, thanks to a Giants win over the Diamondbacks. The Rockies hope to pull out a series and season series win over the Mets today, and will look to the Diamondbacks to play spoiler against the Giants today.

Spilborghs and Morales will most likely get the start today, depending on the game time. Fowler is available to pinch-hit after fouling a ball off his left knee on Tuesday. We should be able to get this one in today, though it won’t be at the scheduled time. Here are the lineups.
