Colorado Rockies: 3 Things You Should Know on February 24

In case you missed it, MLB Network was at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick as part of their series of 30 Clubs in 30 Days. Analyst Harold Reynolds talked about how the Rockies have the best lineup in all of baseball.
He also expressed how he thinks new manager Bud Black brings a different demeanor to the club. MLB Network has high hopes for this team especially the expertise Black brings to the pitching staff.

The MLB 30 for 30 segments include Optimism in Denver, Black starting his tenure in Colorado, Blackmon on the young Rockies players, Bettis on his changed outlook after his cancer diagnosis, Ian Desmond learning his new position, and many more.
Speaking of Demond there are many chronicling how he will transition to first base. Ken Rosenthal writing for foxsports.com, wrote a lengthy profile of what he has gone through to get to this new position with the Rockies.
Desmond has played almost 8000 innings and not one of them was spent at first base. Rosenthal details tremendously how he is getting in sync with his new teammates and what adjustments Desmond has made already.
Rosenthal compares Desmond to Ben Zobrist of the Cubs who can be a great acquisition who could play several positions. Finally the Colorado Rockies announced the 2017 TV and radio schedules for 2017. Root Sports will televise six spring training games starting March 20 against the Cubs.
