Despite losing several position players to injury, the Rockies have done an impressive job of plugging in new faces and keeping the National League’s best offense. The same cannot be said about Colorado’s starting pitching; 15 different players have entered the five-man rotation at some point this season and Walt Weiss still has the NL’s worst pitching staff.

Unless Rockies management makes a big splash in free agency (see: Max Scherzer), fans will need to prepare for watching the same toes on the rubber in 2015. This isn’t all bad, Rockies enthusiasts. A few starters showed some promise this past season and give us fans some hope.

Though there have been 15 different starters this season, I think there are only a select few to be seriously considered for the rotation next season.
