The Colorado Rockies would walk-off in the bottom of the ninth inning as first baseman Ben Paulsen would double on a ball to center field that just kept carrying. Cristhian Adames would score all the way from first giving the Rockies the 5-4 win at Salt Rivers Fields.

Brett Anderson continues to impress as he pitched against his former team — the Oakland Athletics in Cactus League play. Anderson pitched well, throwing three innings giving up just three hits and one earned run. Troy Tulowitzki‘s swing looks to be in midseason form as the shortstop drove in an RBI double in the first inning to tie the game. Tulo’s batting average is up to .333 after starting the Spring 0-for-5 from the dish.

Notable Rockies Hitters:

The Colorado Rockies saw a familiar face on the mound for the Oakland Athletics as Drew Pomeranz came in and relieved A.J. Griffin (3.0 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 2 K’s). Pomeranz would pitch 1 & 1/3 of an inning, giving up two hits and one earned run. Rockies top prospect Jonathan Gray would give up a run in the sixth inning off of an Addison Russell single to left field which brought in Michael Taylor. Gray would finish the day with two innings pitched, giving up two hits, one earned run and would record two strikeouts.
