ROOT SPORTS Unveils Their 2014 Colorado Rockies TV Schedule

Root Sports Rocky Mountain came out with their 2014 Colorado Rockies television schedule Thursday morning as they announced the network would air about 150 Rockies regular season games to go along with six Spring Training games.

Their coverage with begin on March 19th from Scottsdale, Arizona where the Colorado Rockies will be taking on the Chicago Cubs in a Cactus League game. Root Sports regular season coverage will begin when the team has their team opener on March 31st in Florida where they will take on the Miami Marlins in a three-game series to kick-off the season.

When the Colorado Rockies return home to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 4th, Root will do a special one-hour pregame show that will begin at approximately 4:00 PM MT. For more on Root coverage make sure to follow the link. Here is more information about shows that will be aired.

"Additionally, the network will bring back a trio of fan-favorite shows. Rockies Real Time, which gives fans an inside look at players in their everyday lives, will air on Friday nights following the Toyota Postgame Show throughout the season. The first episode premieres on Friday, March 28 and will highlight the Rockies 2014 spring training experience."

The wait is almost over as the Colorado Rockies pitchers and catchers report in just two days, which will be February 15th.
