First comes the sadness, as it is with any of us when we get our feelings hurt

or when we feel we let our friends down

Wilin had tried to so hard

Had wanted so badly to come through for his teammates and be a better catcher

Block things

Catch things

Frame things (baseballs, not pictures or people)

Hadn’t those efforts been enough?
