For the Colorado Rockies, their fans, and the citizens of Colorado, any excitement about baseball season is completely overshadowed at the moment by Super Bowl fever. The Denver Broncos will take on the Seattle Seahawks (and former Rockies farmhand Russell Wilson) in Super Bowl 48. All eyes are on Peyton Manning and the men in orange and blue.
The Rockies are doing their part to support the cause.

So we will cheer for the Broncos and get through the fallout, win or lose, together. And once that gigantic hype wagon passes, we move on to baseball.
Rejoice, Rockies fans, for pitchers and catchers report soon.
That number is now down to 13 days. Let’s all do a happy dance with Manny Corpas.
