I’ll tell you what, as we all spend the day gearing up for a highly anticipated game tonight at Coors Field, a lot of people are using #17 in excellent ways to honor Todd Helton.

A while back Tracy Ringolsby suggested that the Rockies should retire Helton’s number tonight, in his final game at Coors Field, rather than feel the need to let a certain amount of time pass. If all the #17’s around Denver point towards that happening tonight, I would be good with that.
