Rockies at Phillies, September 9, 2012, Game 1: Game Time, Lineups, And Preview.

Rockies at Phillies, 11.05 M.T.

After a washout last night, the Rockies (56-81) play a doubleheader today against the Philadelphia Phillies (67-71). The Rockies are having a horror road trip so far, only winning 1 game out of 5 so far and blowing a late 2-0 lead in the first game of this series. Pitching for the Rockies today is Tyler Chatwood (4-4, 5.53 ERA) who has been struggling with his command in recent games and has had difficulty throwing strikes. He faces Cole Hamels(14-6, 3.03 ERA). If the Rockies can sweep the doubleheader today that will be enough to take the series today.

Tyler Chatwood looks to find his command today and try to help the Rockies earn a victory in Game 1 today. Mandatory Credit: Daniel Shirey-US PRESSWIRE
