Edwin Jackson takes the mound for the Nationals, Jackson is 4-4 on the season with a 2.91 ERA and is 3-1 with a 2.30 ERA this month, but has struggled at Coors in the past, giving up 21 runs over 12 innings spanning 3 starts, most recently giving up 10 runs on 11 hits over 2 1/3 innings in a 12-1 Rockies win over the Diamondbacks.
Several Rockies hitters have had success against Jackson, Todd Helton is 5-12 (.417), Marco Scutaro is 6-20 (.300) with 2 home runs, Michael Cuddyer is 5-9 (.556) and Carlos Gonzalez is 3-5 (.600). Dexter Fowler comes in with a 8 game hitting streak while Cargo has a 16 game home hitting streak in which he is hitting .449 with 7 home runs and 16 RBI.
