The Rockies look to continue to roll tonight against the Diamondbacks, after falling to 12 games under .500 and 14 1/2 games behind the Dodgers on May 27th, Colorado has gone 7-1 and has a chance to jump ahead of Arizona into third in the N.L. West with a victory in tonight’s game. Jeremy Guthrie takes the mound for the Rockies, coming in with a 3-3 record and a 5.48 ERA overall, but away from Coors Field he has gone 2-1 with a 2.22 ERA. Ian Kennedy goes for the Diamondbacks, in winning his last a start over the Giants, Kennedy ended a personal five game losing streak and enters the game with a 4-5 record and a 4.29 ERA in 2012. This will be Kennedy’s 9th career start against Colorado in which he is 1-1 with a 3.13 ERA.

Todd Helton has had the most success off Kennedy in the past with a .353 (6-17) average while Carlos Gonzalez is 4-17 (.278) with a home runs and two doubles. Full line-up as follows:
