The Rockies get their first look at Matt Kemp and N.L. West leading Los Angeles Dodgers tonight. L.A. comes in with a 16-6 record good for best in the National League and tied with the Rangers for best in all of Baseball. Largely led by Matt Kemp who is leading all of baseball with a .425 average and 11 home runs and is tied for the N.L. lead with teammate Andre Either with 24 RBI. Aaron Harang will get the start for the Dodgers and has struggled this season going 1-1 with a 5.16 ERA while giving up at least 3 runs in each of his 4 starts. Harang will be making his sixth career start at Coors Field and carries a 2-1 record with a 6.08 ERA in his career, including giving up 7 runs over 4 1/3 innings last season while a member of the Padres. Juan Nicasio will get his fifth start of 2012, he comes in with a 1-0 record and a 4.76 ERA. Nicasio is 0-1 with a 7.59 in his career against the Dodgers, but is 5-1 in his career at Coors Field.

Michael Cuddyer gets a day off today and is replace by Tyler Colvin, Cuddyer has been in a small slump batting .167 (5-30) since fouling a ball off his toe. Jonny Herrera gets the start at 3B and Dexter Fowler moves back to the eighth spot for tonight’s game. Carlos Gonzalez is in his familiar third spot in the order and comes into the game a career 4-8 with a home run against Harang.
