We wrapped up some important pre-season discussions this week as the Rockies finished their final workouts and prepared to play actual games. Here’s everything in the event you missed it!

Monday

I examined the role of Wilin Rosario on the Rockies’ 2012 roster, especially given the departure of Chris Iannetta and the signing of Ramon Hernandez.

Hayden told the story of Brandon McCarthy’s turnaround and considered whether Guillermo Moscoso might be able to accomplish something similar, or if he is simply doomed to give up a bazillion home runs.

Tuesday

I discussed the youthful and inexperienced Zach Putnam and whether he has a spot on the 2012 team.

Wednesday

I took far too many words to say what can be said in just four: “Troy Tulowitzki is awesome.”

Thursday

I reminisced about Alex White’s rough 2011 and predicted what might be expected of him in 2012.

Friday

In the final installment of Evaluating the Talent for 2011, I tried to piece together the puzzle that is Eric Young Jr.

Hayden talked about the assertion by Rockies veterans that this is now “Tulo’s team.”
