Today’s Matchup – August 16, 2011

The Rockies got a HUGE morale booster last night when Jason Giambi knocked a ball over the right field auxiliary scoreboard with two outs in the bottom of the ninth last night.

Hopefully the team can use this big win as a spark to get themselves rolling, and perhaps even get back in the playoffs race. Finally the Rockies play a team with a worse record then them – tonight is a great chance to go for two in a row, because Anibal Sanchez hasn’t won since June and the Rox are set to defend their home turf.
