The Denver Post just broke the story that Rockies pitcher Jorge De La Rosa will likely miss the rest of the 2011 season and the first two months of the 2012 season with a complete tear of the left Ulnar Collateral Ligament.

De La Rosa left the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday with the Arizona Diamondbacks. An MRI after the game revealed significant damage.

Moves are being discussed now. Watch for Clayton Mortenson to step into the rotation for the rest of the year, with Aaron Cook to come back. Greg Reynolds will take a rotation spot until Cook returns, most likely.
