Because I’m headed to Scottsdale today (hells yeah), we are taking a quick dump this morning.
According to SI’s Jon Heyman, CarGo is a pretty decent ballplayer. I’ll concede his point.

"“I’m very happy with my decision. I feel comfortable in Colorado. I feel comfortable with my teammates. I feel comfortable with the front office. This is the team that pushed me to be the best player I can be.” — CarGo"
Todd Helton is also a good baseball player.

"“I’ve got to go out there and prove to myself, just like everybody else wants to see, if I can be the player that’s going to help this team win. I know people are watching, looking to see. I’m right there with them.” — Todd Helton"
Jhoulys can pitch a little bit.

"“I want to get to a point where I can use my fastball a lot the first time (through a lineup). Then, next time, I can show them something they haven’t seen. Like the curveball or changeup. So they will roll over a groundball.” — Chacin"
Finally, yesterday I wrote about the spring success of Jordan Pacheco, Charlie Blackmon, and Ben Paulsen. I should’ve waited one more day. Paulsen hit a two run dinger and Blackmon had a two run single. Another prospect that deserves mention is Cole Garner. He had a very nice day yesterday.
That’s it for today. As I said, I’m headed to Scottsdale. I’m working on some pretty big things for Rox Pile; hopefully it will all come to fruition.
