The Rockies’ lineup is a work in progress. The parts are all there, but Jim Tracy is still deciding how to allocate them. Jim Armstrong’s article suggests that four spots are already taken. Dexter Fowler will hit leadoff, CarGo will hit third, Tulo will bat clean-up, and Iannetta will hit eighth. That leaves four more spots for Tracy to fill with Seth Smith, Todd Helton, Jose Lopez and Ian Stewart. Who knows how it will end up. I’ll give some more thoughts on the topic later on this week.

"“How guys play will determine how it plays itself out, if a guy is swinging the bat well, he may be in the two hole. If he isn’t, maybe he moves down. That’s just the way baseball works. I like open competition.” — Troy Tulowitzki"

Fanhouse ran a piece on Tulo yesterday. Apparently, he’s a pretty decent ballplayer.

CarGo = Rockstar

Ubaldo and Iannetta are trying to get on the same page. Don’t gloss over this story, their relationship is very important.

I’m officially a Carney Lansford fan.

The Rockies really like Felipe Paulino’s potential. He throws gas.

Claudio Vargas is a sleeper this year.

Barry Bonds is a jerk, but how is this relevant to his perjury case?

Justin Morneau is back on the field. It’s great to see him finally recovering from a scary concussion suffered last July. A knee to the temple is no joke.
